Oracle moves headquaters to Nashville for Healthcare

Oracle and KES: A Nashville Healthcare Meet-Up

Oracle made a bombshell announcement to move its headquarters to Nashville, and it’s gotten many of the city’s healthcare executives talking. Oracle’s decision to relocate its headquarters to Nashville underscores the city's reputation as a healthcare hub - which is why Oracle is so excited to be a part of it. Moving to Nashville will give Oracle a chance to collaborate with other industry players and grow their business in the healthcare sector. And it's not just great news for Oracle – but for KES Systems Solutions (KES) and our clients as well.

KES, Oracle NetSuite consultants, has been assisting healthcare companies in Nashville with ERP solutions since 1996. Now a 100% NetSuite focused firm, KES helps clients utilize Oracle's cloud ERP to streamline critical processes and enhance their growth potential. “With Oracle now located in our hometown, we have better access to the NetSuite roadmap and can stay up-to-date with their future vision. This allows us to help our clients incorporate new advancements in their business and stay ahead of the curve,” said Glenn Hoffmann, KES Managing Director.

“Most people think of Nashville as a country music town, but locals also know it as a healthcare town. With several major players in the industry, Oracle has recognized the potential here. We’re excited to learn more about Oracle’s plans for the healthcare industry and how we can leverage those to help our clients,”

According to the Nashville Health Care Council, the healthcare industry in Nashville generates $68 billion in local economic impact and employs 333,000 people regionally. Oracle's presence is likely to attract more businesses and professionals to the area, further boosting the city's healthcare sector.

Oracle's co-founder Larry Ellison cited the city's vibrant healthcare ecosystem as a major draw for the company, as it aligns with Oracle's increasing focus on developing healthcare software products. This commitment was also reflected by Oracle's recent acquisition of Cerner, a major health IT company, for $28 billion, and has been investing heavily in transitioning Cerner's electronic health records (EHR) software to the cloud.

“Most people think of Nashville as a country music town, but locals also know it as a healthcare town. With several major players in the industry and healthcare-related companies located in the city, Oracle has recognized the potential here. We’re excited to learn more about Oracle’s plans for the healthcare industry and how we can leverage those to help our clients,” add Glenn.
